OriBio™ 1kb plus DNA Ladder is recommended for sizing and approximate quantification of a wide range of linear double-stranded DNA fragments from 100 bp-10 kb. The ladder consists of 13 linear double-stranded DNA fragments, and is premixed with 1× DNA loading dye for direct loading on agarose gel. The 750 bp and 1.5 kb fragments have increased intensity to serve as reference bands. The approximate mass of DNA in each of the bands is provided (base on a 5 µl/lane load) for estimation of sample DNA mass.

10 mM Tris-Cl (pH 8.4), 10 mM EDTA, 0.02% bromophenol blue, 5% glycerol.

Store at room temperature for 3 months, 4℃ for 1 year. For longer periods, store at -20℃. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
